About Me.
Simone Brazzini was born in Lima, Peru, raised in Dallas, Texas, and currently resides in Los Angeles. They hold a BFA in Acting and a minor in Film Production from DePaul University. Recent on screen credits include Vayle in the pilot Wizdom filmed at Chicago’s CineCity studios, Beto in the Latine short Niki Tomi Beto which was a Finalist for the ScreenCraft Short Competition, and Gael in a Wedding to Diego, a queer rom-com shot in Portland, OR which won Audience Favorite at the SaFFlicks Film Fest. Recent regional theatre credits: Frou Frou: A Menagerie of Sort (Boston Court Pasadena), Luciérnagas (National Queer Theatre), Sapience (San Diego Rep), and (trans)formanada (Stages) directed by Virginia Grise. Other than acting, Simone loves rock climbing, hiking, writing poetry, creating music and making films. They are also passionate about inclusion in media which prompted them to found Vibes Video, a production company centering bipoc, queer, trans, and neurodiverse voices. Recent productions include: Somebody (a dark comedic short), Menthol (a dramatic short), One of the Boys (a queer sitcom pilot), It’s Alive! (a comedic sketch), and The Lamp (a short drama).
